Dunno why, but this feels like Akuma just can't kill ryu or ken, even after fighting them at his maximum potential and defeating them both... He just can't deal the finishing blow... The Demon in him screams, "DO IT! FINISH THESE PATHETIC WRETCHES!" Akuma then picks Ken up by the skull, ready to deliver the fatal blow, but Akuma is overwhelmed with Ken... He has accomplished so much. A family, a home, a friend... No matter if Ken is dead, he still has won. "OH, what am I thinking? I'll kill this no-good weakling fighter! No matter of his wife and child, and his home... and his father who is proud of what he has become as a man..." Akuma then drops Ken back towards the ground. "... I cant do it. I've worked so hard to prove what? That I am a no one. Just someone with a bloodlust. No matter what... In the end, you boys win. I give up." The battle-scarred demon was done; he had given up fighting. He has accomplished his goal. He killed them, Both Ryu and Ken: whenever they hear Akuma, they turn into rage-filled zombies, out to kill one man. Akuma then drops to one knee in tears, his hair fell over his face, filled with guilt... "Ryu... You are far stronger than me... I just wanted you to know that. You did not surrender unto the Dark Hadou to surpass me; you would rather fight with a clear conscience, and for what's in your heart. I haven't anything to fight for, to live for. Killing you just because you are stronger than me is a legitimate reason. I submit; you win. I hope you can hear me, boy. Now, enjoy life... I haven't a true place in this world, but I'll find one... Live long, Ryu." Akuma then drops the beads of his brother, Gouken, in front of Ryu's unconscious body. He unties his sparring gloves from around his hands... and sets them in the middle of the beads. Akuma then walks away, fading into the horizon...
